Clutton, Henry Hugh (1850–1909), British surgeon. Clutton's major area of interest concerned diseases of the bones and joints. In 1886 he published his single major paper, describing a malady of the knee that occurs in children who have congenital syphilis. The condition has since become known as Clutton's joints.
